Walk With Sally Celebrates the Success of their 7th Annual Bowl-A-Prom

Walk With Sally

Walk With Sally hosted a day of family fun and fundraising at their 7th Annual Bowl-A-Prom on March 15.

Sponsored by Dealer.com, the prom-themed fundraiser brought together families, friends, mentors, and bowlers. Guests enjoyed drinks, food, and desserts provided by Sprinkles Cupcakes. Live entertainment was provided by Flashpants, a wild 80s cover band. The organization raised over $60,000 through the silent auction, ticket sales and the money raised by the various bowling teams.

For the first time in the history of the event, two of the bowling teams were able to raise $10,000 on their own. Suzanne Sharer, a participant on the team that raised the most money, shares in Walk With Sally’s excitement: “After experiencing Bowl-A-Prom with the children, the families, and their mentors, bowling side by side, our team is even more energized to do it again next year, but even bigger and better! It’s fun, inspiring, and it matters. The kids matter.”

Mar Yvette, from Good Day LA and E! Entertainment, and Jonathan Bennett, host of MTV’s upcoming reality competition show, “Copycat”, co-hosted the event. Other guests included Adam Gertler, host of FX Movie Download, and Vanessa Branch of the Pirates of the Caribbean films. This was Walk With Sally’s most successful Bowl-A-Prom to date and they look forward to making it even better next year.
