When Kashi Aghilipour created the Think restaurants in San Pedro and Rancho Palos Verdes, he wanted to construct a place where people could join together to have stimulating conversations and discuss important issues while they enjoy delicious cuisine. In my family and for many people, eating is more than a method of gaining nutritional substance; it’s a time to connect with other people. Each of the Think restaurants embrace that idea and express it in different ways but with the same motto in mind, “Good food, good wine, good friends.”
Think Café has a classy atmosphere that makes it perfect for a business lunches, a relaxing brunch with friends, or a romantic dinner. Light pours into the restaurant in the afternoons from the floor to ceiling windows that take up two walls of the building. Although it is a small restaurant, Think Café offers customers many seating options including bar seating and a small patio with heaters. Customers rave about the salads at Think Café. They have so many different options with each salad featuring crisp romaine lettuce and fresh, gourmet ingredients. The fresh from the sea Sand Dabs are also a favorite and are rare to find at any other restaurant in the area. My personal favorite is the tender Seared Ahi laid atop a pile of rice accompanied by sautéed spinach. All of the dishes at Think Café are beautifully presented and they have new specials daily.
I’ve been a part of several large group meetings at restaurants and I have to say that Think Café is one of the most accommodating restaurants in the area when it comes to groups. They have a small banquet room of the main dining area that we have used several times. It is quiet enough to be able to hold a meeting and the service has always been excellent.

Think Bistro is hidden away in the corner of a strip mall and hardly noticeable. However, inside is a classy, quiet, little restaurant perfect for stimulating conversations or a romantic date night out. The bistro is dimly lit and many times there is ambient music playing softly in the background.
Think Bistro features delicious French-American Cuisine on their menu. The Filet Mignon Tacos are absolutely amazing and are topped with a unique, zesty Cajun sour cream. Their selection of wines is excellent and the servers are knowledgeable about wine pairings with the menu dishes. Also, try the flowerless chocolate cake for an incredible dessert.

Think Prime Steakhouse and Piano Bar has a very lively ambiance with live entertainment nightly and happy hour seven days a week. A cozy fireplace and dim lighting combined with music contributes to the restaurant’s cozy but hip atmosphere. It’s one of the best places to go in San Pedro to enjoy a night on the town with some friends.
Think Prime has a full service bar and an array of wines to choose from to go with your meal. The Surf and Turf is a big hit with customers and features an 8 oz. perfectly cooked filet and a 9 oz. succulent lobster tail. Although Think Prime is a steakhouse, my personal favorite dish is the Think Shrimp Curry. Jumbo shrimp are sautéed with curry and served with rice and mango chutney creating the perfect balance between sweet and spicy.
