It looks like this week will be full of fun events in the South Bay. There are some great shows going on and some fabulous shopping opportunities.

San Pedro Farmers Market – Heirloom vegetables, delicious food, live entertainment and craft vendors.

Seussical The Musical – Join in the fun at this comical mishmash performance of some of the most loved books written by Dr. Seuss. It’s a musical delight for adults and children alike.

Saturday, February 1, 8:00am – 1:00pm

Community Volunteer Day – Plant rose bushes, pull weeds, and help establish new fruit trees while doing a service for our community.

February 1 – 16, Time Vary

Schoolhouse Rock Live! – Get to know a new teacher as he struggles with his first day jitters and is given friendly advice by the characters of School House Rock. Reminisce to the popular songs like Conjunction Junction, and I’m Just a Bill.

Ford Mustang 50th Anniversary Celebration – Get a closer look at beautiful, classic Mustangs and enjoy the delicious food from Dickey’s Barbeque Pit.

Saturday, February 1, 10:00am – 4:00pm

36th Annual Super Bowl Sunday 10K/5K – Get some exercise while enjoying the sight of the scenic Pacific Ocean. Not only is there a race but there will also be prizes for a costume contest. There will a post-race hospitality area set up by Michelob for finishers. Don’t worry, you will be done in time to watch the game!
