It’s a sizzling summer weekend full of South Bay Events! There are not that many weeks of summer left so make the most of this weekend.

San Pedro Farmers Market – Heirloom vegetables, delicious food, live entertainment and craft vendors.

Korean Liberation Day Community Celebration – The Korean Bell is a well-known landmark that symbolizes friendship between Korea and the United States. Come celebrate Korean Liberation Day and share in the culture.

San Pedro Skate Park Grand Opening – We have been watching the construction with much anticipation and now it is finally going to open! The new skate park at Peck Park is perfect for the large skate community and will be a safe place to shred.

Shakespeare by the Sea – Come catch the very last showing of the dark tragedy Hamlet Prince of Denmark or the comedy mishaps of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Robotics by the Sea – See for yourself how Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) are used by scientists to explore beaches and underwater terrain. Try operating one of the ROVs through an underwater obstacle course. Watch High School Robotics Clubs demonstrate how ROVs function.

Hermosa Beach Summer Sidewalk Sale – Live music will accompany some of the biggest bargains of the year. Hermosa Beach stores and restaurants will be offering discounts and great deals for customers.

Sunday, August 17, 9:00am – 11:00am

6th Annual Kids Extreme – Kids love to play in the mud, run around and swim. Join in the fun with your kids as they swim, run and dodge through a muddy obstacle course. It will be exciting, great exercise and the perfect way to bond with your kids!
