Rok Sushi Kitchen is hosting another great event! This time they are partnering with Learn About Wine to bring you a 4-course wine dinner on March 12.
The raw protein is a perfect base for wine and the delicate nuances of sushi are what make the pairing unique. The dinner is limited to 20 guests and sit down begins at 6:45PM.
Each guest will get pours of the featured wines and a discussion of each led by Ian Blackburn from Learn About Wine. There will be wines served from France, Germany, and of course, the United States. See the dinner list below.
Rok Sushi Kitchen Menu:
1st Course
One piece each of these three:
Scallop sushi or sashimi
Halibut or Red Snapper – to show the soft white wine
Yellowtail – to show the richer white wine
2nd Course
Salmon Carpaccio
thinly sliced salmon, green onions, chili powder,
ponzu, olive oil
3rd Course
Freeway Roll
albacore, spicy tuna, tataki sauce, on California roll
4th Course
Green Tea Crème Brulee
