Rolling Hills Estates is one of the four cities in the Palos Verdes Peninsula (in the South Bay) and has a population of just over 8,000 residents. This city was incorporated as the 60th municipality of the Los Angeles County in 1957, and still maintains the bucolic character with the numerous horse paths. The history of this place dates back to first Spanish grant for rancho land in California. The citizens of the city have worked hard to maintain the unique rural appeal of the place since its establishment, and the rolling hills, bridle trails, white fences, and open spaces can still be seen here. Currently, the city claims 30 different neighborhoods, and each area is differentiated by its own architecture and style.
