Foodie Holiday! National Something on a Stick Day

Ayara Thai Cuisine will be featuring their Moo-Ping as their weekend special.

March 28 is National Something on a Stick Day and Ayara Thai Cuisine and Rok Sushi Kitchen are celebrating!

Ayara Thai Cuisine, in Westchester, will be featuring their Moo-Ping as their weekend special. The grilled pork skewers are inspired by Ayara’s favorite street cart in Bangkok. The popular cart is run by a chubby man nicknamed P’Ouan, meaning Mr. Fatty, who is a legend among Bangkok’s night owls and after club crowd.

The family behind Ayara have spent many late nights at his cart-and believe that they have figured out the secret to the marinade that makes the skewers oh so delicious! Photo above. See ayarathaicuisine.com for their full menu.

Rok Sushi Kitchen, in Hermosa Beach, will be featuring their Chicken Skewers! Served with mixed greens, shredded carrots, and a side of white rice, the chicken is lightly seasoned, grilled, and then topped with a soy based glaze. Photo below. See roksushikitchen.com for their full menu.
